"Become Carlos I of Germany, where he had obtained the imperial dignity, the Court met in Valladolid to crown after he swore the old laws. Rather than show, Carlos sent representatives, as intended, should Courts receive the oath of allegiance. The courts refused to allow those delegates to their presence, informing the king that if he appeared and vowed the country's laws would not be recognized as king of Castile. Carlos gave then; appeared before the Cortes and sworn in "with great reluctance, according to historians. Courts told on this occasion: "You must know, Sir, that the king is a servant of the nation" Thus began the hostilities between Charles I and cities. As a result of the intrigues of King numerous insurrections broke out in Castile, the Holy League was formed and the cities of Avila Cortes convened together in Tordesillas, from where it departed on October 20, 1520 a "protest against abuse" to the king and in response to which he was deprived of his personal rights to all the deputies assembled in Tordesillas. The civil war was inevitable and the villagers then took the weapons under the command of Padilla, his retinue took the fortress of Torrelobatón, but were eventually defeated by superior forces at the Battle of Villalar, April 23, 1521. Rolled on the scaffold the heads of the main "conspirators" and disappeared in Castilla ancient liberties. "

In 1985, completes the process of incorporation of the UPC, and it starts the first instrument of its own in the process of building the grassroots movement Castilian. It starts in practice even in a limited way, the process of self-determination of Castilian Village.

Because a self-determination process begins when two essential steps: the construction of a political theory that identifies a people and its territory and differential proper subject for political action, ie as a specific social formation and therefore framework for the class struggle. And when you start the process of building the political and social characteristics of the Village to carry out this political theory.

This double process of building self-organization and political theory the east, is the practical implementation of self-determination.
UPC
When born, is a tremendous break in the theory and practice with all existing organized left Castilla, hegemoneizada by English and reformism revolutionist, but involves both a reunion with the most intimate essence of Castilian popular movement and its history, and why it apprehends Castilian sectors of the Working People.

Villalar Maintaining a historical reference of the Rebellion Commoner has a very great significance ideological, political and social. And so the first objective set is to conquer the UPC Villalar hegemony, which is accomplished in a couple of years.

That is the essential starting point for any other issue.

When UPC militancy began its journey, we know that this is only the first step in a long way to have different stages.

A first step in that direction last until January 2000 which is the IzCa.

UPC as it could be otherwise was a very cutting edge organization, rather closed, the circumstances demanded, whose task was to sow the seeds of revolutionary Castilianism through a strategy that could be called shock, while broadcast the Castilianism revolutionary, gave an example of practical coherence that was used to gain sympathy from those sectors without castilianist, knew how to value honesty and consistency in the struggle for the transformation of the system.

Over 15 years, was getting some extent this goal and decided it was time to encourage a wider platform, more open, which could be incorporated into new people and new groups, and simultaneously serve to between sectors to promote wider English.

In this period also formed the Revolutionary Youth Castellanas today Tindal, and women Castilian.

balance of IzCa is essentially positive, although of course we made mistakes in the process of its construction, errors that are now essentially obsolete, but this should not prevent new ones appear in the future, but we certainly have much more experience to address them.

These eight years of existence of IzCa have served for a few basic things, essential to continue taking steps forward in the articulation of popular movement Castilian.:

1. A process of political maturation. Today the individual and collective capacity to meet the challenge of popular struggle in Castile, are far superior to those of a few years ago. We have learned, though of course we have much to learn, and this must be one of the important tasks.

2. Today there is a "minimum critical mass" of English revolutionary, a great prize. Today in many regions, districts and villages, English revolutionary is something felt and respected. Twenty years ago the reality was very different.

And within the "minimum critical mass," the role of young people have a major importance, an issue that is of primary interest.

A political project can not be implemented but there is the "minimum critical mass" that resonates with the essential prerequisites of the project. We believe that today the revolutionary English reached that level.

3. It has built itself a revolutionary ideology that seeking the origins of the revolutionary movement of our people, "The Commoner Revolution", serves to overcome the divisions that were in the labor movement in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, between anarchists and socialists, communists versus and socialist and who now have no sense Castilla. We vindicate the "New Thought community members", which will serve to give cohesion and unity to the Castilian people's movement and should be one of the most useful ideological tools to promote the transformative project of the Working People Castilian.

4. The popular movement has participated Castilian in many social movements, with the utmost respect for their autonomy, of which much has been learned, and has given as much as it has been honestly.

5. Castilian popular movement has expanded very significantly their knowledge of international reality, not only in the English state, but globally, especially in Latin America, for it's participation in the Forum of Sao Paulo has been very concerned. This issue is also of great importance in the world in which we live today, where the first order changes at the international level are being giddy.

We are on the threshold of a new phase to build the popular movement Castilian, because external circumstances demand it and allow internal conditions.

Every day is more evident the deep political crisis being experienced by the English monarchy. And every day will be more visible, unfortunately, the consequences of the economic crisis in the English state in general and in particular Castilla.

When a political crisis and an economic crisis converge, and these are deep, is when there are objective conditions for a "real change" system.

We are not referring to the construction of socialism in the short term, but if the real possibility that in the years to be built the correlation of forces sufficient to promote democratic change and popular in Castile.

And if we come together in a common struggle with people's movements in other nations around the state, this change will be possible also in the whole English State. For this bet.

commoner movement accounted for the largest and best historic opportunity we had communities with English-influenced political project of building a democratic, sovereign and based on social justice.

commoner movement remains a strong symbolic reference in the collective memory of our people.

response to this historical fact recognized by of time in various popular struggles that have occurred in our territories, First Republic, Second Republic, anti-fascist resistance ... and the current political situation is that it promotes the common platform
@ s
For all these reasons that since Castilian popular movement, politically organized, we considered that it is time to promote a wider project, more open, more ambitious for our people.

That project, whose construction will start now and covering the next few years, has the greatest desire for integration and democratic.

To participate in this process we invite all people and groups who want to make a commitment to defend the interests of working people Castilian, that this process will culminate positively or not, will depend on precisely which of the social involvement. Community @ S

exploited the 2008 general elections to be released and this is done by submitting a nomination to the Senate in the 17 provinces of English roots and that once the federal agreement signed Castilian, prelude to the proclamation of the First Republic.

With the introduction of these applications also means that those sectors of society more aware and involved in the struggle in our country have the opportunity to express themselves electorally. Castilla
